Manish Jung Shah is the visionary founder of Nepalaya Bazaar, an eco-friendly clothing store located in the spiritual heart of Rishikesh. With a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development Marketing from IAE, Université Savoie Mont Blanc in France, Manish blends academic expertise with a deep-rooted passion for his family’s clothing business.

Growing up, Manish was immersed in the world of textiles, learning the art and commerce of the trade from his father, who has been a lifelong source of inspiration. His father’s journey began with selling traditional Nepali clothing and gradually expanding to open a shop in Goa, setting the foundation for the family’s legacy. Inspired by his father’s hard work and dedication, Manish decided to carry forward this legacy with a modern touch.

After completing his studies, Manish joined the family business, bringing 18 years of hands-on experience and innovative ideas. In 2015, he opened Nepalaya Bazaar in Rishikesh, drawn by the city’s yoga culture, serene environment, and vibrant international community.
